You will use this image and tracer to paint along with Deborah Watson Andress on November 20, 2023 as she instructs you step-by-step how to create 'Homer at the Rodeo'.  The tracer can be used on an 8x10, 9x12, or 11x14 canvas, art paper, or other substrate. 'Homer at the Rodeo' is the third of 3 paintings in an art series designed solely for MadeTV.

There are two ways that you can utilize the tracer: 1) Place your art paper in your printer and print the tracer in grayscale directly onto your paper substrate.  2) Copy and paste the tracer into Word, adjust the size of the tracer as needed, and print the tracer onto copy paper.  Then, using a piece of carbon paper between your substrate and the printed copy paper, trace the image onto your substrate.  Do not worry if you encounter smudges from your carbon paper; paint will cover it up.

These are the supplies that you will need:

Paints:  Primary Colors: Black, White, Red, Blue, Yellow.  Additional Colors: Green, Brown, and Pink.  If you only have primary colors, please realize you can mix them to create additional colors needed for this art project.  A color chart is included.

Brushes:  Flathead Medium Brush, Rounded Medium Brush, and a Liner Brush.

Substrate:  8x10, 9x12, or 11x14 canvas, art paper, or other substrate (gift bag, wood, etc.)
